Procurement International Category Manager
Location: Cigacice (near Zielona Góra)

Secure profitable purchase processes
We are looking for a procurement professional who will join Rockwool's Global Procurement organisation - Group Sourcing and Procurement, working in Cigacice. Your main responsibility will be the acquisition of Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Materials and Services (MRO). As an International Category Manager, you will ensure that we adhere to the already defined procurement processes and continuously make sure that we develop the best and most cost-efficient ones.
As International Category Manager, you will be responsible for strategy, sourcing, negotiations and our SAP-based contract management for specific supplier and category groups. An integral part of the job is developing and maintaining close relations with your colleagues across Rockwool's Operating Companies around the world. The position involves significant international travel to supplier and Rockwool locations.
Self-motivated, business-minded team player
You need to have prior experience with procurement, preferably of the related materials and services, or experience equivalent to that. Your educational background is a degree in business administration or technical subject and/or strong experience and track record of results. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a history of adding value and delivering positive results in similar procurement roles. Strong negotiation abilities and good communication skills are required. English proficiency is a must and additional language skills are desirable. In addition, the International Category Manager needs good analytical skills and experience of working with SAP/other ERP system.
On the personal level, you are an independent and ambitious self-starter, who is able to communicate and cooperate with colleagues on all organisational levels. And who is able to work with distance management, as your manager can be located in another country.
